Barry Windham

The second-generation wrestler Barry Windham has made himself a successful wrestler and continued the legacy of the Windham family. His father is the former World Tag Team Champion Blackjack Mulligan, member of the popular tag team The Blackjacks of the 1970s with Blackjack Lanza. Barry himself was a very popular and successful wrestler and won many championships including the NWA World Heavyweight Championship.

February 21, 1993 (SuperBrawl III) - July 18, 1993 (Beach Blast)
On February 21, 1993, Barry Windham proved why he was a second-generation wrestler. He fulfilled his lifelong dream of becoming a world champion when he defeated.The Great Muta for the NWA World Heavyweight Championship. Windham held on the title for five months, before losing it to the legendary "Nature Boy" Ric Flair at Beach Blast.

May 13, 1988 - February 20, 1989 (Chi-Town Rumble)
On May 13, 1988, the newest member of Four Horsemen, Barry Windham competed in a tournament for the United States Championship. He defeated Midnight Rider in the quarter-final round and Nikita Koloff in the tournament final for the vacant title. He held it for nine months, before losing it to Lex Luger at Chi-Town Rumble.

May 9, 1992 (Saturday Night) - June 13, 1992 (Worldwide)
On May 9, 1992 edition of Saturday Night, the tall-heighted and brawling Barry Windham defeated the cocky "Stunning" Steve Austin in a 2/3 Falls match to win the WCW Television Championship. He held the championship for a month before losing it back to Austin on June 13 edition of Worldwide.

World Tag Team Championship (2 times)
January 21, 1985 - March 31, 1985 (WrestleMania)
On January 21, 1985, the US Express, consisting of real-life relatives Barry Windham and Mike Rotundo, defeated Dick Murdoch and Adrian Adonis for the World Tag Team Championship. They held the titles for two months, before losing the championships to Iron Sheik and Nikolai Volkoff at the first-ever WrestleMania.

June 17, 1985 (Championship Wrestling) - August 24, 1985
After losing the championships to the non-American tag team of Iron Sheik and Nikolai Volkoff, US Express won back the World Tag Team Championship by defeating Sheik and Volkoff in a patriotic battle on June 17, 1985 edition of Championship Wrestling. They lost the title to Dream Team (Brutus Beefcake and Greg Valentine) on August 24.

March 27, 1988 (Clash of the Champions) - April 23, 1988 (Saturday Night)
On March 27, 1988, Lex Luger, who had recently left Ric Flair's Four Horsemen teamed with another Horsemen rival Barry Windham on the first-ever edition of Clash of the Champions, and this newly formed team defeated Horsemen Arn Anderson and Tully Blanchard for the WCW Tag Team Championship. A month later, on April 23 edition of Sunday Night, Luger and Windham lost the titles back to Anderson and Blanchard, when Windham betrayed Luger by attacking him and allowing the former champions to regain their titles.

October 3, 1992 (Saturday Night) - November 18, 1992 (Clash of the Champions)
On October 3, 1992 edition of Saturday Night, the second-generation wrestlers, Barry Windham and Dustin Rhodes were partnered up against Terry Gordy and Steve Williams. The son of Blackjack Mulligan, Barry Windham and the son of Dusty Rhodes, Dustin Rhodes, defeated Gordy and Williams for the WCW Tag Team Championship. They lost the titles to Ricky Steamboat and Shane Douglas on Clash of the Champions.

February 21, 1999 (SuperBrawl IX) - March 14, 1999 (Uncensored)
At SuperBrawl IX pay-per-view, the pair of second-generation wrestlers Curt Hennig and Barry Windham took on the team of young and rising wrestlers Chris Benoit and Dean Malenko. The son of Larry Hennig, Curt and the son of Blackjack Mulligan, Barry, defeated Benoit and Malenko in a Double Elimination Tournament for the vacant WCW Tag Team Championship. They held the title for three weeks, before losing it to Benoit and Malenko.

August 23, 1999 (Nitro) - September 12, 1999 (Fall Brawl)
On August 23, 1999 edition of Nitro, the sons of Blackjack Mulligan and then-members of West Texas Rednecks, Barry and Kendall Windham defeated 8-time champions Harlem Heat (Booker T and Stevie Ray) for the WCW Tag Team Championship. However, the two second-generation wrestling brothers lost the titles back to Harlem Heat at Fall Brawl pay-per-view.

United States Tag Team Championship (1 time)
December 9, 1986 - March 14, 1987 (Saturday Night)
On December 9, 1986, the second-generation wrestler Barry Windham teamed with Ron Garvin to defeat the team of former WWE Champion Ivan Koloff and Khrusher Khruschev for the United States Tag Team Championship. After holding the titles for three months, Windham and Garvin were defeated by Koloff and his new partner Dick Murdoch on Saturday Night.
